My nailpolish collection: updated + swatched

Hi!
After removing several polishes which dried in or such, and adding many new ones, I decided that it was time for a quick update on my stash. As I was bored and was looking for something to do, I also made pictures of every color on my fingernails, to show what it looks like that way. The pictures aren't really clear, but they show the true color of the polish most of the time. Also, I didn't swatch every polish, after I finished making pictures and had my "usual" manicure ready, I found out that I had forgotten 2 polishes... Also, I didn't swatch the base and top coats - naturally. Enough with the talking, and on to the pictures!

As I already 'exhibited' them like this, I counted them, as this was easy to do while they were like this, and I came out on a total of 51 laquers. Not bad, right? ^^

Paris memories + Essence 19 Rock 'n' Roll

Hi!
To make up for a week of no blogging, I decided to put up a second article today!
As I got bored with my blue nails, I decided to try some things for christmas. The winner is this "look":

Sorry for the blurry pictures, but you get  the idea: Christmas red with christmas sparkliness =D!
Actually, I was trying to do some nail art with my fake Konad set, but then again the glitters weren't appropriate for this kind of thing, so it came out all wrong.. But when I looked at my nails again, I decided that I like the way it looks: Though it's not looking like the pattern at all, it still looks more elegant than just blobbing silver nailpolish on the red base. I really like it and I think I will wear this with christmas!

A review of both lacquers:
The paris memories (red) was great, like all the others of that brand. I believe it was about €2.50 at the Surprise Shop and the Douglas. I don't know what number it is, but you will recognise is when you see it. It is a great nailpolish! It is easy to apply, and very smooth on your nails, you won't see stripes at all. On the above pictures I wore 2 coats.

Essence 19 Rock 'n' Roll is awesome as well! It's holographic, but you don't see that when you use it as a detail. My brother got me this one for last "pakjesavond", and as you can understand I was really happy, but this is also the reason I don't know its price. As it is Essence, it probably wasn't that expensive ;)
It's a great polish, and it's easy to apply. You will need aproximately 2 coats, that will do. I really like it, and I may wear this one to a party or so, though I'm crazy enough to make this my everyday look!

Hi people,
Sorry I haven't posted in a while (again), but I have been ill, so I wasn't able to post. Well, I was able to, but I couldn't do anything or find inspiration because I didn't really get out of the house. Today is the last day of me not doing anything, tomorrow I will go to Den Bosch with a few friends, to visit the Lush and stuff like that, and after that, probably on sunday I will write an article about what I bought. My 3 2 go is doing great, I think I will post something on that on the 1st of December or so.. Just because a new month starts then ^^
Something small I wanted to tell you guys about: one of my friends and I have started writing letters, as mail is so.. well.. unpersonal, and it's just fun to do. We will send each other our letter every month, and it's written as a month of diary entries, so just with date and what we did that day, and just everything random which we think of. We wanted to do this in the first place because of me emigrating, but we decided to just start already, and I can tell you that it's fun to do, and I'm already looking forward to read the first letter I get!

Eyelook

Hi people!
I was bored and didn't know what to do... I polished my nails,

tried to clean my room... As I was cleaning my room, I was trying to organise my make-up (which was hard to do), and while I was doing that, I decided to make a simple eye look:

I know it isn't really extravagant or anything, but I thought is was not bad! I think I am going to wear this look tomorrow, as my family is coming over to celebrate my birthday.

For this look I used the following products:

Birthday part 2

So, yesterday was my birthday.
It was a great day, though I had to go to school from 9.15 untill 16.25.
I got many gifts. At breakfast, my parents, brother and sister all gave me money, and I was really happy, as I am saving up for an Ipod touch. Also, a lot of cards came to congratulate me, and one of the envelopes  contained presents: earrings and a bracelet! I was really happy, as they were both really beautiful and I wanted some new jewelry anyway. The last thing I got was a kind of earring-holder, shaped like a tree. It can only hold 2 pairs of earrings, but it is very cute so I was really happy.
When I got to school, many people came over to congratulate me, and I even got some gifts! The best gift was a Lush gift certificate, I was so happy because I didn't expect to get any gifts at all! So, next week me and 2 of my friends will go to Rotterdam to spend the certificate and some additional money ofcourse!
In the evening, these two friends came to my house, and they brought chocolate cookies with them! They were kind of unsuccesfull in baking them: they were supposed to be thin, crispy cookies but they were kind of huge... Anyway, they tasted good, so we just ate them!
After eating and having a lot of fun with them, I had to make some homework and then the day was gone... I'm already waiting for my sweet 16!

It's my birthday!

Happy birthday to me! ^^
This is just a quick update to tell you about my birthday and to apologize for not posting that often. It's just been busy with school and everything, which is a horrible excuse, which I know. Also, I didn't have anything to write about, but in a few days, probably saturday, I will tell you some things about my new hobby (which is still a secret right now ;))

3 2 go update #1

Yess!
Today I finished my first item: the lipsmacker! Well, finished... I kind of donated it to a friend because she did like the smell, so I thought that was a good way to remove the balm from my "stash"

So.. As I want to replace this product, I decided that the next product which is to be eliminated is....
The Mango Body Scrub from The Body Shop:

As you can see, it will take a while for me to finish this, but I totally love this scrub, so that won't be a problem ^^ The reason I want to empty this one is that I've had it for a while now, and I'm scared that it will go bad or something...

 That was it, I'm really glad to have one product gone already, I didn't expect that to happen!

Illuminati

I don't know if you have ever heard about them: the Illuminati. They call themselve the new world order as well. A while ago I stumbled over a serie about them on youtube: part 1
After I saw that, I kept watching untill I finished the series, and now I'm sure: that stuff is creeeepy! It is really weird, and the scariest thing is that they exist..
I know this is just a short article, but I wasn't planning on updating at all, but I just remembered this and wanted to share it with you guys.

3 2 go

(This is a new category, which I will update every once in a while.)
Have you ever had, that you have a lot of products which you have had for a while, and haven't finished because the smell was boring you, for example? Or have you ever stopped using a product because you got a new one, and the old one is still half full?
I have. And to finish these products before going to Sweden (less products means less to move with me ^^), I decided to challenge myself with a 3 2 go. Many of you probably know this as project 10 pan, but I don't have that many products which I need to finish for some reason, I decided to make it 3 2 go.
Here I will post 3 items which I really want to finish, because they will expire soon, are boring, or I just forget to use them, or any other reason I may have.
The 3 items I want to finish right now are:
- Dove Daily Exfoliating Shower Scrub
- Lipsmacker Cola Vanilla
- Dove Supreme Body Silk

I have made a picture of every product, to show you how far I've gotten already, and I will show you the product every month, or untill I finish it, to show my progress. Here are the first pictures:

Not bad I guess, but I have a lot of "work" to do before I have finished them..

My october favorites

Because a new month just started, I thought it would be nice to show you my favorite products from this month. I have tried to finish some of them, but I underestimated the amount of product left in the packaging, and to make sure I will keep using them, I decided to make a 3 to go challenge for myself, there will be an article on that.
Anyway, there were a few products I used a lot this month. Some of them just because I wanted to finish them, others because I really like them. As this article is about my favorites, I will only talk about the second part of the stuff I used. Logical, isn't it ;)

The first thing I have been using almost everyday, was my new perfume, about which I have written earlier: Mysterious by Mexx.

It's a very nice perfume for the wintertime, not too heavy, but also not too sweet or flowery, or anything else which is summery actually. Just great for the winter.

The next thing which I bought and love, is my new eye pencil: contour clubbing waterproof by bourjois. Every single eye pencil I own is smudging after an hour or so, and this one stays on waaaay better! I admit, this one isn't perfect either, but it stays on at least 3 hours on my waterline, and it is great to work with, it just glides on your eyes, which I really like. It was €6.90, and it is provided by most drugstores.

 

And, last but not least, my nivea lipbalm. I know it was in my last favorites as well, but I used it a lot again, and still love it.
