Puppies!

Hey!
I'm soooo exited right now! I actually wanted to tell you yesterday, but I didn't have time, so I'll just tell you now... We are going to get PUPPIES!!!!
Two German Spitz puppies, to be exact. We saw some adverstising in a shop closeby, so we called the phonenumber on the announcement to see if there were any puppies left, there were, and that same day we drove to the people selling them. From the moment we walked in, I knew I wanted to have all of them! There were about 6 puppies in a kind of wooden box, and mummydog was keeping a close eye on us while we cuddled with her babies. They were all só cute! I immediately fell in love with the smallest, dark brown guy, but unfortunatly he was already sold... Seeing how we were looking for two dogs, we decided to take the only other darkbrown one, and one of his siblings with whom he was playfighting. The darkbrown one is a boy, we named it Asso (well, its name already was Asso, and we liked it so we kept that name), and the lighter one is a girl, and her name now is Gaia.
On Saturday they will be brought to our home, because first they need to get a chip with all of their info in their neck, and several vaccinations.
I am superexited and really can't wait for them to come! I've never had any pets before (unless my little brother counts), and now, two of the cutest fluffballs? Life is good.
They are both 7 weeks now by the way.
I tried to take pictures, which was very hard due to the bad light and all that, but this is what I got:
This is Asso, adorable or what? <3

So, the dark one is Asso, the one next to him is Gaia.
Cute  huh?
Just a few days left before they finally are delivered, and then forever part of our family!
Can't wait.
I'll post pictures ASAP!

Just to fill you in.

Long time no post!
Funny how almost every post starts with a sentence similar to the one above...
I thought it might be nice to tell you guys what's going on in my life right now.

Of course, I am loving the fact that I have vacation, no school to worry about for at least another month! And, now that I have nothing else to do, just like the rest of my family, my grandfather has decided to come over from Holland for about a month! He is leaving the 26th, so just a few days left, but we had fun while he was here.
For example, we went to one of the many woods close to my house, and we have picked a crapload of blueberries, almost 2 kilos! And you have to understand that we went there at least thrice, so a blueberry overdose was inevitable. ^^
We also went to several operas, this is not a thing I normally do, but this one is and exception: The Ring by Wagner. I have now seen all four parts, ranging from 2.5 to almost 4 hours each, and it was amazing. The show, the music, the storyline... Loved it! As you may or may not know, my dad is a musician, so that is the reason why I'm more involved in classical music than the average teenager.
Something else I've done, is visit a bakery 'contest'. It wasn't really a contest, more like a huge table of all kinds of cookies and cakes, and you could taste them all and decide for yourself which ones you liked best. Impossible to explain, luckily I took some pictures!

Omnomnomnomnom.

Well, that were the major events of the past month I believe. I hope you're enjoying summer break as much as I do! I'd really like it if you'd comment to tell me what you have done (or what you're planning to do) this summer. Also, random comments, critical comments, or request comments (on what kind of post you'd like to see) are very welcome. Oh who am I kidding, any comment at all will do! Getting desperate here ;-)
Thanks for reading, and have a lovely day!

Want to have a good laugh?

Then check out this website!

click
My friend showed me this and I have had so much fun with it the past fifteen minutes or so!
Basically it shows how bad the quality of online translation is, by translating a piece of text up till 56 times from English to a random language and back. Here's an example:

Original text:
"Hey *my friends name*, thanks for showing me this website!"
...56 translations later we get:
"* The story of my friends from the Internet."

Well. I must admit that this one is one of the weaker ones, but you get the idea! So hopefully you guys enjoy that website as much as I do, now if you'll excuse me, I have useless translations to make.

Original text:
"xx Eva"
...56 translations later we get:
"Eva century."

The Choice..

... Tee hee ^^ Just thought a dramatic title would be fun =)
Sorry that it took me so long to make this article, but believe it or not, I have been busy! A concert, polishing my nails, being lazy, spending quality time with my family...
But here it is anyway. Making the decision took ages! I believe that about an hour after I posted the article, I finally decided on what to do. Not on my own of course, I had to ask about 8 people what they thought I should do before starting! And, as always, just after I put on my topcoat, I had to go have dinner. At the dinner table, I destroyed my nails (clumsy as always), so I had to start again. After I painted my nails for the second time, I was happy that everything had gone right. Untill my nailpolish decided to become bubbly because of the hot weather. Take three, and everything went perfect. Finally.
And here I am now, writing this post - while contemplating which color to put on my nails now - , but of course, you're here for the picture! So here you go:

Catrice C01 Pastel Yellow from the Pastel Delight collection with black flowers in fauxnad nailart =)
Nothing too special really, yet I got a compliment from my fathers' colleague so yeah I was happy enough ^^

And here are two bonus pictures of the polish I wore before this one, because otherwise this post would be kind of suckish I guess:

Manhattan Crazy Colours (limited edition)
As you can see it is a lovely holographic polish! Too bad it isn't opaque that quick, I have used about three or maybe four coats here, so next time I'll just use a dark purple base color underneath, to make sure the color is even and the nail itself doesn't show, if you know what I mean.
Right now I'm wearing yet another color, L'oreal Resist & Shine 118, I believe I've written a piece about that one before, and yesterday I put a coat of golden glitters on my thumbs and annulary, just for an extra effect ^^
The nail polish stories, chapter I don't know, has hereby come to an end. Hope you enjoyed it!
